Beauty Favorites (Review #1)

Makeup can be a girl's best friend. It helps complete an outfit and boost my confidence

There can be a few problems with makeup though....
1. Finding the right product/shade.
2. Finding it for the right price.

If you are like me, then you don't have loads of money to spend on beauty products. There are a FEW splurge items that I will purchase, but for the most part I use "drug store" brand products.

These are a few of my favorite everyday products.

FACE:
Garnier Skin Renew: Anti-Puff Eye Roller ($10, Walmart)I have only been using this for two weeks, but I can already notice a difference under my eyes.
Physician's Formula: Mineral Loose Powder ($12, Walmart)
This lasts for such a long time. It's definitely worth the investment.
Physician's Formula: Concealer Twins ($2, Dirt Cheap)
I don't use this every day, but it's great for covering up pimples.
Rimmel London: Match Perfection ($4, Walmart)
This has been the BEST concealer I have ever owned. It has much better coverage than the BB Cream from CoverGirl.

Hard Candy: Honeymoon Baked Blush ($7, Walmart)
Words can't say how much I love this product. It creates such a wonderful glow on your cheeks! MAC has a VERY similar product called Soft & Glow, but I would rather pay $7 over $30. You won't be disappointed.

Jemma Kidd: Show Stopper Bronzer ($2, Dirt Cheap)
All of her makeup is sold at Target, but I was lucky and found this at Dirt Cheap. Always look for deals!
Maybelline: Fit me! Deep Coral ($4, Walmart)
The bronzer used to be packaged very pretty, but it has been used A LOT. Definitely worth it.

EYES:
Covergirl: Intense Shadowblast ($3, Dollar General)
This is a great primer for any eyeshadow. It comes in handy.

The top is what my eyeshadow looks like without primer. The bottom swatch is with the Covergirl primer.

Urban Decay: Naked 2 Palette ($52, Sephora)
This was a splurge. It has been worth every penny though. It can make a very causal or dramatic eye look. It's so versatile.

Eye Lash Curler (Price varies on brand.)
I like to heat mine up with a blow dryer for a few seconds. It helps bend the lashes more.
L'Oreal Paris: Telescopic Explosion Mascara ($3, on sale at Dollar General)
I LOVE this mascara. I have a lot of little lashes, and this gets them all.
Maybelline: The Colossal Volume Express Mascara ($6, Walmart)
I put this one on first, then I apply the L'Oreal Paris one. :)
Maybelline: Line Stiletto Liquid Eyeliner ($3, on sale at Dollar General)
This is perfect for a dark black line. It creates a very bold look.
NYC Eyeliner Duo ($0.97, Walmart)
I know you are probably wondering why I have two mascaras....It helps layer your lashes. Together they can create a fuller lash. I use the NYC eyeliner to get right inside of my eyelids. The Maybelline eyeliner is for when I am wanting to make a more dramatic effect.

LIPS:
Rimmel London: Stay On Lip Contouring Pencil in Rose Quartz ($3, Walmart)
I didn't realize how helpful lip liner was until about 2 weeks ago.

This is a swatch of my favorite lip colors...
This is what they look like packaged.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait ($7, Walmart)
Lip Butter feels so amazing on your lips. It's a very soft color, but I use it every day.
MAC Lipstick in Sounds Like Noise ($14, MAC)
This is from the Hayley William's line. It's a bold orange, but I love it! This is not a color I usually wear to work though. I save it for special ocassions.
Cover Girl Outlast Lip Stain ($2 each, on sale at Dollar General)
I apply my lip stain before I apply any lip butter or lipstick. This definitely adds color to your lips.

Always look for deals! Use coupons! Especially at CVS. They have so many deals on makeup. You don't have to splurge to have a great makeup collection.
